How we rank results

What we consider

• Relevance: the provider offers the service you searched for or asked the concierge about.
• Area: they work in your city, neighborhood or ZIP code in Miami-Dade.
• Verified license or registration: if the trade requires it, it’s active in the official record (DBPR, FDACS, Miami-Dade Tax Collector or IRS), with the date we checked it.
• Complete listing: contact details, services, areas and languages confirmed by the business.

What we don’t do

• The “Verified on Valaku” badge isn’t for sale: every provider who meets the criteria gets it, paying or not.
• We don’t use reviews or ratings to rank: we don’t show them today.
• The concierge sends you options based on your request; you choose who to work with.

Paid listings and Valaku clients

If a listing is featured or placed higher because the business paid, we always mark it with a visible “Sponsored” label.

If we built a provider’s website, we say so with the notice “Valaku client: we built their website”.

Where things stand

Valaku is new. For now the listings you see on the site are examples, and the concierge puts together each reply by hand using these criteria. If we change how we rank, we’ll update this page.
